A division within the City of Hamilton Healthy and Safe Communities Department that coordinates indoor and outdoor recreation programs and provides placement assistance for individuals with special needs. Manages arenas, community and recreation centres, seniors centres and clubs, parks and trails, playgrounds, aquatic centres and swimming pools, city summer camps and supervised playgrounds, facility and ice rentals, and permits.
