YWCA Hamilton Community and Cultural Connections

Offering free workshops and networking programs for newcomer women, youth, and gender-diverse folks to help connect to local services and resources. The program's goal is to help them make new friends, build networks and participate in their community in a way that is meaningful to them. Some of the activities offered through this program are:

  • Newcomer and Indigenous connections
  • New moms circles
  • Connection through art

Eligibility

Participants must:

  • identify as a woman, gender-diverse or non-binary and;
  • be a Permanent Resident, Protected Person/Convention Refugee, a Live-in Caregiver with an approved work permit or a Ukrainian National or their dependent in Canada.
