Comprehensive Family Law Services

Programs that provide information and advice, help with documents, legal counselling and/or representation and other forms of legal assistance which deal broadly with family law issues such as divorce and separation, child custody and access, and support payments rather than specializing in a particular issue that concerns relationships and rights within families.

 

Services

The Family Advice Duty Counsel is a service run out of the Family Law Information Centre. The counsel can provide limited general advice and assistance on family law matters to everyone, and if the person meets the financial guidelines set by Legal Aid Ontario, they may be able to:

A drop-in service that provides legal and non-legal information, regarding family law issues, such as separation and divorce.
