Women's Social Clubs

Organizations for women that provide an opportunity for members to meet and socialize through dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable activities. Some clubs may also offer lecture series which address topics of interest to the membership or provide opportunities for involvement in charitable fundraising and other similar activities.

Rafiki Hamilton Programs

Offers a variety of programs to allow families of French-speaking immigrants to settle, integrate, and participate in the community of Hamilton. Programs include:

Website of the Red Hat Society, includes a complete list of chapters. There are many chapters throughout Hamilton which are revealed once joining and becoming a member.

Duet Club of Hamilton Recitals and Scholarship Program

Runs the Women of Song SSAA chorus group and supports young musicians through its scholarship program as well as providing a platform for scholarship winners to perform in recital.  Performances are held in various venues.  Affiliated with Hamilton Music Festival.

Join Immigration and Settlement Program

YWCA Hamilton offers comprehensive immigration and settlement services specifically designed for newcomer women, youth, and gender-diverse folks, to support their settlement & integration in Hamilton.

Services include:

Ladies' Social Group

A women's social and support group that meets weekly. Activities include crafts, conversations, or events planned through partnerships. 

Social Club, Red Hat Society

A social club for women from all walks of life, promoting fun and friendship with like-minded women. Women over the age of 50 wear Red Hats and purple clothing, while women under 50 wear Pink Hats and lavender clothing.
