Accredited long-term care home offering nursing and personal care on a 24-hour basis. Rooms and basic services include: furnishings and bed linens, laundry and housekeeping, personal hygiene supplies, medical/clinical supplies and devices, meals and medication administration, pastoral services, social and recreational programs, and assistance with the essential activities of daily living.

The Newcomer Learning Centre, located on the fourth floor of Central Library, serves people who are new to Canada.  

Services include:

Protestant Church offering weekly worship service on Sunday mornings, in person and livestreamed online. Recordings of past sermons are available online.

Emergency crisis line and response team to assist individuals who have serious mental health issues and who are in crisis. Also supports caregivers in the management of acute mental health concerns and crisis.

COAST is a partnership between mental health professionals from St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, Hamilton Police Services, and Halton Regional Police Services.

Location of PATH Employment Services. Members who access the Centre have free access to telephone, photocopier, fax machine, and computers with internet access and software for typing practice, word and data processing, accessibility, and career cruising.
