An early 19th century homestead once home to the Gage family and the scene of the Battle of Stoney Creek during the war of 1812. The Battlefield Monument stands as a symbol of peace and commemorates those soldiers who died on June 6, 1813. This historic site is located on 32 acres of parkland linked to the Bruce Trail, and is also home of the Nash-Jackson House.

The geographical boundary is Wellington Street to the west, the Canadian National Railway tracks to the north, Sherman Avenue to the east and Main Street to the south.
Kirkendall Neighbourhood Association Location. There is no physical location for this service. The geographical boundary extends between Main Street and the escarpment. North of Aberdeen it covers the area between Queen Street and the 403/Chedoke Expressway; south of Aberdeen it extends from Queen Street to the Chedoke Golf Course.
