Investigates public complaints against Ontario's police assigned by the Office of the Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD) and serious discipline issues concerning non-sworn members.
To file a public complaint:
- Attend a police stations and speak to the on-duty Staff Sergeant or request a standard Public Complaint form.
- Submit a written complaint by mail to Hamilton Police Service, 155 King William St., Box 1060 LCD 1, Hamilton ON L8N 4C1.
- Submit online through the Office of the Independent Police Review Director at www.oiprd.on.ca
