Youth Community Mental Health Program

Serves street-involved youth ages 16-21 in Hamilton, meeting youth at various residential and non-residential programs within Good Shepherd Youth Services and the Street Youth Planning Collaborative (SYPC). 

Program offers: 

  • Crisis Intervention for suicidal and seriously ill youth who need hospitalization
  • Mental health assessments
  • Consultation with child and adolescent psychiatrists
  • Evidence-informed individual therapy
  • Skills for Life group education
  • Staff training at Good Shepherd Youth Services and the SYPC agencies to increase the mental health knowledge and skills of frontline workers
